In 2018 our division of new developments worked on improving the characteristics of half-wave plates. Within a few months, the technology of selecting components and the technique of choosing the right angular ratio was improved, which made it possible to influence the level of the curve alignment.
As a result, the accuracy of the test samples could be brought to the level of accuracy of the λ/200in the interval 390-800 Nm, and the accuracy of the λ/300 in the range 425-775 Nm, as shown in the figure. Thus, the product line of half-wave plates will be expanded in the near future.
